Is it possible to win on Event ?
Hello,

Has someone ever won the first place on an Event ?
I suspect HyperHippo using virtual players always with superior amounts of points.

For example yesterday I was in the 2nd position with 2700 points and the #1 was at 2900 points.
A couple minutes later the #1 was at 17000+ points.
It's barrely impossible to win such points so rapiditly by clicking, maybe exept spending a lot of real money.

The Editor of this game has the right to do such things, it's their game after all.

Regards.

If you use pseudonyms to say they are bots, it doesn't work like that. I was Illustrious Moneybags 629 or something like that.

insert coins to continue is definitely one of the harder events. Struggling with it.

Are there cheaters? Probably. Are there pay-to-win players? certainly. Is it possible to win 1st place without using any of the above? I think that depends one the players you're grouped with for the events - if you get unlucky and go up against 2-3 big spenders/cheaters in a mad race for top spot, then no.

But no matter what, reaching a top rank (top 5) without cheating or spending, will require a massive effort and that you're willing to literally sacrifice almost all of your time for the duration of the event... and then you'll also need some degree of luck with the tasks (like when you can complete one gold task almost instantly after completing the previous one, for example if the first task is to accumulate a huge pile of cash, and the next one is to spend a huge pile of cash - that makes for a perfect combo)

But you need to be online almost 24/7 to complete the various tasks. Keep going for as long as you have "have XXX of XXX" and restart once all tasks say "buy xxx of xxx" and making sure that your earnings are on max once the button mash event activates.

I'm currently in 3rd place with a tiny hope of reaching 2nd - 1st seems out of the question. Standings are such, that I risk dropping as far down as 7th if I don't keep working non stop. Is it fun? Nope, I'm finding it increasingly frustrating, but I've invested so much time already, that I don't want to risk losing the nice rewards. I don't ever think I'll do this again, though... life's too short.

last week I had a guy constantly breaking away from me and couldn't catch up because had to go to work. This week, I got matched up with a crazy crew where top two spots are 180k and top 15 all around 100k. I'm grinding out but really struggling. Points are low. I'm getting impossible challenges like 90Quin in 3 hours which is unattainable. I'm getting a lot of 80 point challenges.

In my matchup, #1 went from 400.000 to over 500.000 in less than an hour. 2nd place is around 195.000, I'm in 3rd on appr. 135.000, chased by a pack at around 120.000.

Last night I dropped 3 places because I had to sleep, so you're right: sleeping and working really hampers ones chances of success. Which is also why I said, I'd probably never do this again: too much stress and pressure.

The groupings are changed, because I remember the time when it was 10k+ players all racing for the top spot. Highest I ever got in that was in the 900s. Then they changed it to these groups of 60. Yeah, it's a nice change, but because of that it adds opportunities for, as many have said, cheaters. I can easily get 50k points in a few hours, and usually I get very high on the leaderboards, being around 5-15 consistently, and I don't spend a dime. One of the nicer things is that it only takes a few minutes of playing to get timewarps, and you can stockpile and save those to get higher and higher. If you play events and stockpile stuff, then use all your stockpikes to get 1st, it's a great strategy.

Right now in the current event, I only started a few hours ago but have 20k points, so it's easy to get a lot of points fast. If you get lucky too, and get the "buy x things" 4k point rewards you can get those quick, since the strategy is you keep redeeming tiny amounts of angel investors and all to get those missions done quickly as well.

Oh, and as well, some badges like laser pointer have stupidly overpowered benefits, so maybe those people just have a lot of old high power badges as well, could be very much possible.

if 2nd place counts as winning, consider it done

I'm assuming that I ended up in 3rd place - assuming, because the event has simply vanished once it expired - no prizes payout, no final score announcement, just *poof*

From what I read, we should be getting the prizes instantly? I'm hoping to be able to launch the Mars campaign with my wins, but as they haven't been paid, I can't do that.

I learned a lot of valuable lessions in this event.

I'm not sure how it went for everyone else in insert coins but I was matched up with a group of 15 people all over 100k which has never happened in the past. My rewards were small and difficult to achieve. I ended up with 120KI but got bored and had to go to bed then work in the last 14 hours. I think I finished 10th.

1st point: It is utterly pointless using multipliers and fluxes because the more angels you get, the more difficult challenges become. I used a 27X multiplier only to see one of my challenges go from 229 to 232, and others accordingly.

2nd Point: The best strategy would almost seem to amass a crap load of 3 hour time warps as the 1 day and 7 day warps are too powerful. Whenever you get to the last day and have a long challenge, warp it, get the points, sometimes 4,300 + 4 smaller point rewards at once. Each time you use a warp, you're getting the increased power from angels. I'm thinking about grinding out the next ten events and getting as many warps as possible and then buying with earned gold 60 3 hour warps. That would potentially equate to some big scores.
