Is Event Ranking Leaderboards rigged?

I was wondering why am I always getting 8th trophy and if the general playerbase is somewhat equal to the leaderboards. Because I checked how many people are playing this game right know and it's more or less = 2,000.

On the recent event I also checked nickname of a guy that is just above me and "Exuberant Capitalist 747" or "vitorxexa95" doesn't freakin exist. You can still find the profiles if they're private.

So by rigged I have a suspicion that except real players there are also a bunch of "bots nickname" pushed on to the leaderboard to prevent you going to far. Especially if you're f2p. Let's be honest- if you're spending Dosh on this game then you'll be higher, get better rewards and also actually be able to complete the events. As a f2p it's impossible to win any event. I remember when they were starting and testing the first events and I could actually make it to the end of it. But they were like "Oh no. Free to play players made without spending a coin... We have to change it guys". I don't have even slightest doubts that devs are that way.
Events as they were developed were harder and harder to complete. Mars now costs bucks (was for free in-game currency) as well as many other items. And although I didn't spend a dime on this game because in my opinion it's not worth it, it's way to expensive and you can buy separate games that deserve more atention. I still watched hundreds of ads on the mobile version. So it's not like I'm playing your game for free. So I'm not some parasite or a leech that plays games for free and complains that wants more.

If you think 240 gold (20$) is worth spending more than on some different games (Subnautica for example) then you're in for a treat (it's not). It's like buying and changing the lightbulbs in some old lampshade when you could buy big new chandelier for the price of that one lightbulb. xD
You still think it's worth it? Find yourself spending money on this game. finishing all planets and wondering what the F you just did because there's nothing to "click" on except repetitive events every few weeks.

Subnautica? My ♥♥♥♥♥. Also, ya, events will always be pay to win. This new one rewards auto clicker cheaters. I want an actual event where I need to get on more than twice a day. Though I don't know why I bother when I can never get better than top 6000. Like right now. Guy in first has 1.423 septquadragintillion. Seems legit. I've been on for 38 mintues and have 43 angels. Ban cheaters, remove pay to win events, and create new worlds. Developer is greedy and lazy as ♥♥♥♥.

He is. Have you seen any different game from them that has any decent playerbase (Despite them being on the market for years now? No, they made this one and trying to make some dosh out of this one until nobody pays for that ****

I'm free to play on mobile but have placed 1st in a bunch of events. It's all about timing and math. Seems silly but it is possible.

There are a lot of bots in the ranking list and from what I've seen on the forum not all players are in the same rankings even. I think the rankings are designed to pit you against a challange that will incentivice ingame purchases and spending.

^ this. Honestly the last few events i've tried to get in the top 10 rankings at least and just hoard my warps/gold. This is the first leaderboard i've been in where i've actually been in 1st place. F2P player. Still a few days until event ends but surprised i'm actually holding 1st atm since the last event I only got 3rd due to the other two players above me raking serious points. That said I feel like i've been extremely lucky with my current goals since I haven't had to use gold to change any of them so far. RNG & who all are in my same ranking has been kind this event. Sometimes it just takes a bit of grinding and luck.

yeah this event is really chill, I'm over 100,000 points and not really trying the next guy is a good 30,000 points back. and I got 3 week long time warps in the bank from placing first in the last event. earlier on it was more competitive.

but after you get the hang of the event you dont need to spend money. although this event I got a nasty quest in my set of 4 where it wants me to get a huge amount of angels to proceed which I could do if I used some material but not going to do that. I'd rather not take first.

I mean I got 3 days, maybe I'll get the angels by then but its 60 frigging points for 90 octillion angels or something.

I placed first last event, I only spent the two free express warps I got from the event itself to clutch out the win, I still would have gotten 2nd without them.

4 Hours before event is finished i was 1st with 240000points and i spent 2days and 150gold, then in 30minutes some "guy" made 260000points out of nowhere, he was not even top 20, broken game, waste of time, uninstalled.

ok i have figured out how to max the game out put but no matter how well i play..(and i play pretty well have been 1 or 2 for last 4 weeks running paying nothing..) but someone willing to spend real life cash will beat you every time.... pushed withing 10k this morning i was at 315 he was at 327 3rd place is just over 150k ... and in like an hour he went 100k up this is 3rd time this week he has had burst of 100k... cant be done short of spending money and it doesnt take a lot of money. if you making 100k in an hour you spending real money or cheating (same thing really)

Honestly I have a suspicion of anything named "Moneybags" and "Capitalist", there's so many of them clogging up the leaderboard in various events.
