unable to connect to server

okay so as the title says, im "Unable to connect with the server, please ensure you have a stable internet or data connection and try again."
its been like this for maybe a week and a half and my internet hasnt changed at all.
this happened right after one of the events and it was disappointing cause who knows if i even got my reward or not knowing the games lack of giving out megabucks despite actually working to get them.
anyways would like to know if anyone has a fix for this cause ive searched and have found nothing at all. (have tried uninstalling and changing internet connections)

Restart Computer
Make sure hwcdn.net is allowed in your network as that server is the "AdCap Update Your Game Server".

I have not look if that address is the hosting server for hyper hippo but assuming it is, first, try to ping the server, if you are not able to reach the server check your firewall rules, if all is ok and the problem persist ask for a support ticket to hyper hippo, if they don't see any problem look if your ISP has some restriction to certain domains or ip address blocks :)
