Leaderboard suspicious
Unless these people paid a literal fortune or cheat, I don't see, how anyone would get in the top 100 the legitimate way. Or am I horribly wrong? Just look at these numbers there. They are enormous. And they were as high just after a few hours of starting the event.

I find this event really hard compared to earlier ones. Usually it is a few "walls" to break through, but this one feels like just one big wall that never ends.. Also no "clicking boost" in this event..

You would think, they'd filter out any OBVIOUSLY cheated entries to the leaderboard and ban the users? It just rewards cheaters and punishes people, who are using the game normally this way. And not to mention, it makes playing competitivelly no fun.
You could send out 3 megabucks to everyone playing instead of doing an event, and not much would change.

We do our best to monitor the Leaderboards and clear off anyone who has cheated their way to the top. We usually clear them out closer to the end of the event so we can get as many as possible.

i wonder how they can cheat if the game got updates constantly

It's definitely rigged. One event I spent a bunch of gold, and with a few hours left noticed I was 140th or so, and figured I'd spend some more on warps to get in the top 100. Ran the numbers and spent enough to get to about 90th... when I checked I was 103rd. Figured it was possible it could have been timing, so I did it again. Again, 103rd. No matter how much I spent, I couldn't crack the top 100. Did it 4 or 5 times and gave up.

There was no movement in the numbers for a couple hours, but if someone tried, only then would the amounts update. So, either it's rigged internally or by eternal bots, but it's definitely rigged. Hours later when the event closed I think I was 108th, so I guess 5 more suckers much have tried the same thing.

Long story short, don't waste your time or gold.

It's possible that several players are trying for a final push near the end of the event. You also want to make sure you are doing a reset to claim your Angels as this will force the Leaderboard to update. Claiming with Gold won't force the same update.

I'm well aware of how things work. This wasn't in the final minutes, that was with a few hours remaining. I doubled up, claimed and checked. Did it again. And again. And the same result everytime. Magically everyone infront of me did it simultaneously with me. Then stopped when I stopped.

A little too convenient to just dismiss as a coincidence. Obviously something is rigged, whether you'll admit it or not.

LOL, if they were really monitoring all they have to do is check the leaderboards 15 minutes after the event starts -- anyone with octogintillion angels gets banned

False. They can probably calculate the maximum humanly possible way to get money the quickest way. And then they could check the people on the leaderboard for numbers above that. Maybe then, they cross-reference it with people, who have bought boosts and calculate, how much they could have made with it. If any of these numbers is impossible to achieve, they are probably banned from the leaderboards or deleted.
And it is probably way better to wait until the very end, so the leaderboards seem like you can actually benefit from cheating. And getting them all in one sweep is probably the most efficient way to handle it. Because... would you want them to sit there only for the first day, ban the cheaters and after that, you can just go ahead and do whatever you want?

2017/09/29 -- Live Your Profits event

3:14:00 left

#1 has 56.921 octoquadragintillion angels

#2 has 1.027 octoquadragintillion angels

#1 is absolutely cheating

and I have seen some of the same people in the top 10 quite a few events -- even in the last minutes

the top 10 cheat and the devs don't do crap to stop it

i like the pain Sep 29, 2017 @ 4:47am
yeah, cheating. no other way to gain those high scores. started yeasterday, a few mins into start. was second name on highscorelist. ten minutes later a third person had started and was at 1st place with octoquadragintillion points.
never put money into this game, but if i did i'd be so angry with the non action of haxors.
