Any tips on when to buy upgrades?

I feel like I'm hardly making progress. Maybe it's because I'm buying upgrades at the wrong times? Or isn't there any 'bad' time to buy upgrades?

Please help I'm confusion. (and kinda stupid)

Depending on your budget first items to buy: multiplier x27 or x99 (or both or several of them xD) are the best and does not matter if you are just beginning or you are at the mid game, second item: flux capitalor, 1 delux will do a great job, third item(s) megabuck from the currency exchange tab in the launch menu in order to buy, first, megaboosts, then use other megabucks to upgrade to platinum tier 1, 2, 3 then the blue or the white suite (maybe you will be able to do it at the mid game) finally a micromanager and the upgrade for it :)
the time traveller pack or the time warps are usefull when you want to get a really good upgrade but you need to wait for a day or maybe a week to get enogh money,so use them wisely.
the angels resets i recomend to you to do it each time you get 10 times or more the number of angels you have plus the number of angels you will need to get your next upgrade, example: you have 500 angels your next desired upgrades cost you 1250 you may consider to get to 6250 angels to your next reset, that way your profits will raise 10 times + the raise of the upgrades, if you do it before at the end you will expend more time to reach the same profits, and remember never run out of angels (sacrifice them all) just in some points you will need to sacrifice more than 50% of the number of angels you own :)
Note: the game takes the first time months to finish, after that you can finish the planets in 1 day

It looks like you're a pretty experienced player. Do you also have some tips for when to buy upgrades with money?

I always feel like you should wait with buying upgrades. Or doesn't it matter at all when you buy money upgrades? I don't know how to explain this..
Like, do you have to buy money upgrades whenever you can. Or do you have to wait until you can't buy any more investments?

thank you but i don't feel i'm a very skilled player but the contrary ^^ but this game is just maths :D
The money upgrades are organized in blocks in earth the first ones are the lemons and ending each block with the all investment multipliers, always look for the investment that gives you more profits and always upgrade that one first before the other investments, then the second, the third... and as soon as you can wait just a couple of minutes to have enough money to buy the all investment multiplier go for it, at the begining the bank and the oil are the best but in the mid game the pizza and the donuts are the best options to growth and a little bit the car wash, until the end game when only the car wash with the lemons will be the best option to invest, news papers are important on the global count of investments but not for the actual profits :)
It may vary from player to player depending on the way each one invest that's why i said to go always first for the one that gives you more profits

:) just an edit: for me is the car wash because of a badge from an event :P but the final investments without any badge are oil and lemons ^^
