I really enjoyed this game as a fan of the Kururin series, it's a shame more people won't be able to find it. Was there any particular reason for the removal?

When I try to play this, an error window comes up and tells me that the Steam client must be on and I must be logged in. When I try to operate it from the local files, it not only doesn't start the game, but takes me to another Steam browser page! This includes when I modify the compatibility mode. Does anyone know what's going on??...
