Okay, that is not Yi qi. And no, giving it the same genus name and a new species name does not make it unique. Also, called it on how underwhelming its abilities would be. Basically, you just took traits from creatures like the Terror Bird, Rock Drake, Megalania, Archaeopteryx, Microraptor, Utahraptor, and Velonasaurus and rolled them into one creature you're putting on a map that it doesn't even really fit the theme or aesthetic of. When I see stuff like this, I can kind of understand some people's criticisms when they say the creature designs in Ark are ugly and disgusting. Granted, I don't agree that that applies to all of Ark's creatures, but for this one, I'd make an exception. This thing looks nothing like a scansoriopterygid dinosaur, all of which were small, bird-like with long fingers connected by skin membranes resembling bat wings (indicating they might have actually been able to fly or at least glide), and possessed unusual teeth for theropods. The only thing about this creature which indicates any relation to Yi qi is the bat-like wing membranes between its fingers. That's it. Other than that, it looks like a Terror Bird and Dodo crossbred with a Utahraptor or Troodon with the same spike-firing ability as the Velonasaurus from Extinction and a weird ability to change the type of effects its feather darts have depending on what it eats (don't know if any other creature has such an ability, but I can't imagine it's that unique). The fact that the developers are not incorporating the unique design aspects and abilities that the creature creators are proposing just shows they are solely using this vote for lazy inspiration and then concocting their own twisted crap that completely spits on the efforts of the creature creators/submitters. Utterly disgraceful and unacceptable. Ark has literally gone from one of the most beloved games of the last almost 10 years to a laughingstock. Seriously, I hope this game gets ripped out of Snail's greedy hands. In fact, it might be best if the series is handed off to another developer and publisher outside of Wildcard altogether. From what I can see, they've done nothing to separate themselves from and get off the sinking ship of a publisher that is Snail.

not only did they make the yi qi end up looking like the result of what happens when you breed dodos ingame to have 200+ mutations but they also made fasolasuchus look nothing like the concept art and i dont know about you though but i absolutely loved the concept art one more than the asa one

Extremely disappointed about the nitrado partnership, my experience with them has been more expensive and poor support. Guess I'll play ASA once that partnership has ended, if the studio survives that long.

"stay on" does not mean "being online". you wont be in your tribe if during the save you're not on that map. though can probably force yourself into tribe with admin rights so whatever.

So... it's now a dodorex? Ok, so I did say it wouldn't look the same or have the same attributes etc when it was implemented - cos NONE of the 'community creatures' ever have done - but still... a bloody dodorex?
As for this crap with the server data and it ending up with a sh177y P2P setup - I did tell you so. Daniel had a fit as usual and tried to say it would "never happen", that "they are a wonderful and caring company" and all the rest of that crap that makes you throw up in your own mouth but hey - I was right.
Again.

Also, what is this crap about "your server"? Have your char on "your server" in order to access that save? The hell? I have a huge amount of structural stuff / dino's etc on G2, CI, Fj + Val, not to mention the other "satellite outpost" stuff on other servers for playing specific stuff on those as well - and now I am supposed to choose ONE and let the rest vanish and then bloody well PAY TO PLAY WHAT IS LEFT?
My arse...


And remember:
ASA was promised FOR FREE;
We were promised that our game data would be carried over - NOT kept separate and P2P only;
Ark 2 was due to be released SIX MONTHS AGO and is currently delayed to at least SPRING 2025;
We STILL have NOT seen a single in-game thing from either ASA or Ark 2;
ASA was supposed to have been released by now with Island + SE but has been both reduced and delayed to being Island ONLY and 3+ months later;
WC are NOT the victims here - they are just as bad as Snail;
WC have continually lied about everything from dates to intentions to content - even down to what creatures will actually look like!

Still doesn't explain how multi-server folks are going to get their multiple world-saves. Unless those saves will be public for everyone so they can grab them and use console commands. Sounds like a hassle.
