Greeting Survivors!

Welcome to the ninth issue of the Community Crunch! To those unaware this is a topic which primarily consist of content to share, made by the community, for the community! As well as any little changes I want to make survivors aware about, which happen within our community ;).

ARK Tribe Week on Gamepedia!

Our partners, Gamepedia, who created our ARK’s Official Wiki[ark.gamepedia.com] announced a special week all about tribes in ARK! They’ve releasing a lot of content in regards to tribes, including a fantastic Tribe directory where survivors can submit their Tribes to be listed on the wiki and receive their own custom Tribe wiki page! You can read more about it and all the extra additional content here[www.gamepedia.com].

We’ve seen some great Tribes already get involved and start working on their pages, JurEx[ark.gamepedia.com] from Official EU PvE Server 262 set up a fantastic wikipedia page sharing details about the tribes including who they are, where to find them, and many many great screenshots!

Speaking of wikis, another German fansite dedicated to ARK Survival Evolved have created their own ARK wiki which contains over 200 articles! You can check it out here[www.arksurvivalevolved.de].

ARKitect

This weeks ARKitect award has to go to Jcyrus for their amazing in-game recreation of the Taj Mahal. Making use of foundations, water tanks, pillars among other structures they have successfully created a building that closely resembles one of the iconic wonders of the world. I honestly didn’t expect to see anything like this and my god was it mind blowing! Fantastic work Jcyrus and I can’t wait to see what else you have in store, hopefully this inspires other Survivors and lets them take their arkitect skills to the next level!

Fanart, Screenshots and more!

So it’s been a little while since we’ve showcased some-fanart and whilst browsing our Steam Community hub, I came across some really cool pieces!

Firstly, a massive shoutout to Nikout for his piece titled “On the prowl”. It really speaks for itself, not much description in regards to how this was taken or what it was edited with but wow, it has definitely earned it’s spot in the crunch!

Funnily enough, whilst I was grabbing this photo it seems Nikout had uploaded a new picture! “When titans clash” This one is just as cool, showcasing the islands, terrifying apex predators going head to head! My chitin paste is on the Spinosaurus!

The ARK is often seen as a dangerous place, loads of terror roaming the island, dead dinosaurs, dead survivors, but sometimes it can actually be a pretty peaceful place. FGZwergnase[fgzwergnase.deviantart.com] does a great job of showcasing this with their artwork!

Absolutely gorgeous!

Recently we announced that we’ve been working on pixel-by-pixel painting signs, something that a lot survivors have been really excited about, Never has already been expressing their artistic ability by making use of structures and the dye system in game to paint their tribe logo on to a giant structure. Can’t wait to see what they have planned once the pixel-by-pixel painting has been introduced!

What about Dino beds, you could just tell the dino to return home AND the dino could respawn there, it could even be fed there. those Data chips you get from bodies, just implant them into your dino to get it to reswawn once.
