***Update Requests and Ideas***
I haven't played the game yet, but if I could make a suggestion it would be:

*(Furniture) A base doesn't look so homely without proper furnature like chairs, tables, couches, or even desks. There could also be potted plants, carpets, cave paintings, and picture frames for scenery.

*(Arthropleura) One of the biggest arthropods to ever live. Compared to the meganeura, I think it would be the size of a school bus.

*(Quagga) The Ark needs a tamed beast that represents a trusty steed, and the quagga is the perfect canidate.

*(Dire Wolf) Ever heard of dogs being man's best friend? Dire wolves could be the next best thing.

*(Microraptor) A little something to be a passive carnivore following Brontosaurs to eat grubs that are unearthed by their footsteps. Edit: Dossier revealed.

*(Velociraptor) I don't know what you'll nickname it since 'raptor' is already taken, but these guys could be a great threat and a great guard dog. You know, you can spoof Jurassic park and name the species V. Arkensis.

*(Brachiosaurus) Something other than Brontosaurus that shakes the island to its core.

*(Baryonyx and Suchomimus) Good mounts for catching fish in river beds and streams.

*(Diplocalus, Koolasuchus, and Prionosuchus) Some types of early amphibians that could be great companions.

*(Therizinosaurus) If there is a dinosaur with sythes for hands, you can't not add it to a dinosaur game.

*(Australopithecus) These could act like the 'natives' of the Ark. They could have primitive tools and huts.

*(Ammonite) These have to be added eventually. Wait, are the shells made of chitin or keratin?

*(Yeti) It's not really prehistoric, but it would make a great rare sight in the mountains or a great boss.

*(Archaeopteryx) It just needs to be added. It's a flying dinosaur.

*(Megatherium) It's a giant sloth that would be good for harvesting plants.

*(Elasmotherium) Something to go with the mammoths.

*(Rodent) Some type of mesozoic rodent can be added for scenery and a cute pet.

*(Bee) If you can find a prehistoric bee or wasp, add it to the game.

*(Terror Bird) The 'dinosaurs' of the ice age could be dangerous predators and fast mounts.

*(Protoceratops) It would act and behave like a trike but is a little smaller.

*(Giganotosaurus) A larger and more powerful apex predator than T. Dominum.

*(Torosaurus) It could be a larger ceratopsian that can combat larger predators.

*(Allosaurus) Not as big as T. Dominum but larger than Carnotaurus.

*(Ceratosaurus) Larger than Utahraptor but smaller than Carnotaurus.

*(Pterodactylus) A smaller but faster mount than Pteranodon.

*(Thylacine) It would make a great house pet.

*(Confuciusornis) A cute bird that could help deliver messages like a dove.

*(Giant Octopus) Its ink could be replaced with oil and it could help collect pearls.

*(Anglerfish) It looks prehistoric enough. Plus it could be guard the precious resources that lurk in the abyss.

*(Kraken) Just imagine how challenging it would be to fight an underwater boss.

*(Edmontosaurus, Corythosaurus, and Iguanodon) Some mounts that could be similar to the Parasaur but with different stats.

*(Styracosaurus) A little smaller than Triceratops but has very long horns.

*(Kentrosaurus) This stegosaur is half covered in spikes.

*(Lycaenops) It's like a pre-dino smilodon.

*(Archelon) The largest known turtle ever.

*(Amphicoelias) Literally the largest dinosaur in recorded history. And knowing the developers, it could end up being larger on the Ark.

*(Andrewsarchus) It could be like those giant wolves in The Hobbit.

*(Macrauchenia) A llama with a tapir head is perfect for a game like this.

*(Cave Bear) Yes, there were prehistoric bears.

*(Archaeotherium) Imagine a world where bacon fought back.

*(Eohippus) The ancestor of modern day horses.

*(Procoptodon) A very large kangaroo.

*(Titanotylopus) The largest camel to ever exist. If the Ark obtained desert biomes, it would make the perfect mount.

*(Aurochs) You would not want to mistake one for a female if attempting to obtain milk.

*(Sivatherium) A prehistoric giraffe.

*(Deinosuchus) It could be made larger than the Sarco.

*(Deinonychus) A slightly smaller version of the Utahraptor.

*(Troodon) They are said to be the smartest dinosaurs to ever walk the Earth. Would their Ark counterpants be a lot smarter?

*(Backstory) As you progress further in the game, you start getting flashbacks of your life before you arrived on the island. It could have been aliens that put you in a giant habitat in space just when you were about to go extinct, an incident similar to one in Doctor Who when humans are put in an alien zoo with dinosaurs for entertainment, or a government/terrorist organization that puts you on an uncharted island to see if you can survive. The 'specimen' in 'specimen implant' kinda gives it away. Edit: Backstory confirmed.

*(Vehicles) If taming is too tuff for certain survivors, they could craft rafts, canoes, and eventually jeeps and motorcycles when they further progress. Maybe there could also be a way to make roads and bridges across the Ark. And if one went to extremely high levels, let's say 50-60, one can build a helicopter.

*(Plumbing) As we all know, we humans are cautious about when and where we defecate, and Ark is not a good example. Toilets should be added to help other species not mistake us for apes. Another good idea is for pipes that bring the defecation to farmland to be used as fertalizer.

*(Ventiation) For people that are too cold and cant get warm or are too hot and can't cool down, there should be heaters and air conditioners respectfully. Edit: Just noticed air conditioner, but no heater.

*(Silk) The spiders can be harvested for their silk to make elegant articles of clothing, furniture, and carpets.

*(Marble) In case anyone wants to survive the fancy way with marble structures.

*(Weapons) The weapons I would like to see in the game are whips, knives, clubs, and swords.

*(Food) So far, the only natural food source on the Ark is berries and meat. There should be more variation of food for survivors and mounts alike. A good example would be bugs and grubs that can be dug up to feed to small, carnivorous pets or be cooked to obtain protein. There should also be a way to go fishing with a rod to obtain various kinds of fish and crustaceans. One could also collect grass, ferns, and leaves to give to tamed herbivores along with fruits that grow on unique trees. And if you want dairy, you could milk tamed female mammals.

*(Breeding) This idea would be perfect if one doesn't have time to tame a wild dinosaur. Of course, it would take a while for all the infants, cubs, chicks, calves, and babies to mature and be mountable, probably as long as the taming process of a wild adult, maybe even longer. Plus they would be very vulnerable to any desperate predator. Anyway, these would be more beneficial if they gained levels more often than ones obtained in the wild. Kind of like the breeding process in Pokemon.

*(Animal Armor) Why should survivors be the only specimens to equip armor? Just imagine someone charging into battle with a T. Dominum in metallic armor.

*(Gender Differences) Thanks to science, we know that male Pteranodons and Parasaurs had longer crests than females. And we don't have to check the fossil records to know that female Sabertooths did not have testicles. Wait, why are there even testicles?!?!

*(Sub-species) This is a request for both the fans of Jurassic Park dinosaurs and the fans of feathered dinosaurs. There could be bald and feathered versions of T. Dominum, Utahraptor, Compy, Gallimimus, Quetzal, Pteranodon, Dimorphodon, Dilo, and any other theropod. There could also be a sub-species of Triceratops that sports the quills on its tail. And for the Spinosaur, there could be a rare sub-species that walks on two legs.

*(Animale Dyeing) It would be really cool if you could paint patterns on your mount, along with dyeing the horns, claws, tusks, feathers, shells, frills, and exoskeletons to help show your tribe's colors. I also think that there should be a way to remove dye in case someone trolls you by painting your entire base pink.

Backstory is already planned.
Humans *are* apes...

I just go to somwhere suitable and press Z every now and then, so I don't poop in the middle of a conversation with a tribemate :-O

As for all the animals, the devs have already said they're adding a metric crapton of prehistoric animals to the game. When it comes to early homminids, however, I think huts are a bit of a stretch...

In fact, a lot of your suggestions are already planned. It's like the developers somehow saw the future and read your post before you made it! Amaaaazing!

...and yeah, I want those furniture as well. I didn't realize until now how much I wanted a chair in my base!
