hello!
I wanted to make custom "LevelExperienceRampOverrides" recently but I figured it will take AGES. I mean... if I want lets say... make level 4000 cap... so I made a tool that generates level ramp.
So no more grindy insane time of creating that config!

Maybe, you just really hate MMO grinder - like playstyle? Well.. thats for you! Just adjust difficulty to match your preferences :)
Fun servers with like 4000 levels and requrement of 1 xp for 4k'th lvl? Yeah, sure, it can do this!
Want hardcore hours-killing grindstone to get to level 20? Why not? its totally possible here!

features:
-choose how many levels you want to be created
-set difficulty (how much XP per level)
-optimized curve (thanx cryptis midnight!!!)
-it will add max xp value based on highest level automatically.
-curve type xp ramp and linear type of xp ramp
-fully blown engrams point generation!

it creates txt file that you can copy from and paste it to game.ini. if you are looking for level ramp generator you probably know what to do.

I made this app before 4k monitors were popular. Windows 10 knows how to scale apps that dont know how to scale on 4k monitor (cough cough... steam) but windows 7 does **not**. just drop your resolution to 1080p and it will be fine. I no longer play ark and rewriting to make the app responsive.... meh. I dont really have time for that, Im sorry. I have few projects in queue and I dont have time to finish them.
Lots of ideas. Not enough time.

This is final version of this app. I am willing to support it if you find severe bugs etc. but no new features.

if you want level 5000 wild dinos this is done in the game setting ini or Command line, its

OverrideOfficialDifficulty=

then just set the levels to 500 for the levels of both players and dinos as you see fit. that being said if you are playing on The island keep in mind that the last 15 levels will be locked behind acsension, i am not sure if this is the same on all maps if so set player levels to 515 to correct for that.

Not that I know of. I'm just using the base resolution of my monitor which is 4k and Windows 10.

for a temp work around till we can best work out a fix i suggest:

1. right clicking the arkv4 exe
   
2. go to properties
   
3. go to compatiblity tab
   
4. check Override High DPI scaling
   
5. select one of the options from the drop down menu uder it, i would suggest system (enhanced) to start with.

Hi all, i have created my custom code for custom dino levels using the ARKgen tool which has in essense worked fine, however the problem i have is when a dino gets tamed instead of using the dinos current level for required XP to the next level it is defaulting to Level 1 XP requirements, know how to solve this problem?

once a dino is tamed that is level 0 and it goes up from there

just used it and it made my life so much easier, used diff tools and manuall edits before and getting the xp ramp to go up smooth is a hell for silly high lvls. (1k ish peaks) all im hoping for is that my annunaki will override the dino lvlramp too or ill just set that up with your lil tool aswell. did wonders for my personal server im running :)

really enjoy the simple (non cluttered/messy) and functional ui, the information boxes are great aswell no confusion in what im doing and what its for. all is clear and good. great work all the way :)

How do I get this app to generate levels above 115? On my server they want to be able to get to 150

sorry for delay, I was working over 24 hours last day and previously round 16-18 hours per day... finally a day off.

Generally fllow the wizzard, it should be intuitive, you select the MMO (default) curve type, next, than ramp down difficulty a little bit (you can check real time to see results easier) and kick in more levels (you can go up to 4000 levels), rest click through next or adjust that to your needs too.

and I just stole this and loving it so I don't have to figure out all the math myself to do the player/dino lvl gain. along with the engram points
such a sweet mod
