Anyone use Host Havoc???

It gets listed on the steam list under "unnoficial servers" Klio. The search will take some time as there are thousands of servers. but once you find it, set it to favorite and its an easy reconnect everytime..

Yes i know that ty by the way, but i rent a server with the purpose of made a pvp community so the people can find the Havoc servers by searching the name ? cous nitrado server only can join by adding ip to favorites

Yes they can find it by searching the name. But it does take time.. there are so many servers running Ark.

I have had nothing but trouble with their control panel, it needs a serious update. and as of the last few weeks constant lag and slow ticket responses. I have just recently rented a server from another host and have had no issues so far, their control panel is far better with way more options. and game runs much smoother.

I'm not trying to bash them, just giving my honest opinion. I'm sure some don't have issues.

I'll list a few issues I've had/still have:
Slow control panel response.
server takes 20 minutes to restart. (map size is 100 mb's)
constant lag spikes/rubberbanding (my ping is in the 30-50 range)
scheduled task function does not work to restart the server on a daily basis at a specific time.
in order to make my control panel time match my current time zone (-8:00) I have to set the time to (+10:00) in my profile.
customer service response was great in the beginning, however it has greatly dropped off as as late.

We rent at the moment a server with Havoc, the service response is fast, server was smooth when we started the server 20 players was fine, but now that it begin to be popular we get lag spike, they told me that our setting was high rate but it was fine at 20 players at 40+ players it begin to lag and got server crashs. not sure if they have alot virtual servers on same machine or server dont handle network with alot players. at this point we wondering if we continue with them or not. they offer a great service with ticket and great quality with server 20-30 slots from what i experienced. but i dont know how it is with other host company. Might be the game it self too, who knows, but on our server at 40+ quality begin to be not that good. we have a high rate server and i demolish all abandonned bases, we tried with and without mods, i even wipe the server... at this point they put our server cpu on high priority to see if that change something, ill let you know later if its better. console manager could be better but i guess it could be worst too, update is easy and fast

Have been with them 2 billing cycles now and they have so far been great and have even updated some of the control panel with new features. My only complaint with them is that they use Paypal for the billing, but I'm not leaving them for just that.

Adding mods is really easy (their FAQs explains it pretty well) and updating is super easy as well. Highly recommend!

What's the problem with Paypal? I think it's the best way to pay.

I know this is a late response, but I've been using them to host Ark, and I am really glad I picked them. Easy to use game panel, and great customer service. I screwed up registering (derp!) and they responded quickly to resolve my problem.

Windows based servers. Atleast on the machines from ovh in france. No clue about other locations.

I use them for hosting out of Seattle and it is a Windows Based Server for mine. Hope this helps I get a little bit of the rubber-banding lag on my server but then again i have on every server i have ever played on Official or Unofficial which i believe has to do more with the game being in development then the hosting companies. I can say i lag / Rubber-band around way less on the Host Havoc server then i did on the Official servers. With this in mind i have been pretty happy some key things to note if you do go with them the setup process for Ark takes about 30 minutes to an Hour before the server is playable. This tripped me out at first as i did not realize it had this type of setup time but after 30 minutes my server was up and running and then i spent about 15-20 more minutes going through the GameUserSettings.ini file to get that setup the way i liked it.
