"Realms" RP Server-Coming 2022 * Seeking Help.

The new map Lost Island has me interested in Ark again. So I began searching for an RP server to join. Sadly I have not had much luck. While the servers I have looked into have friendly people, most of them have Admins who dictate how you can play on their server. Now I love great lore and stories. I also understand the need for server rules. But extreme "play it our way or else" servers do not interest me.

For instance, a server demanded I play in one of 4 factions. I just wanted to play and meet new people. I was new and just learning the game again and I was kicked on the second day for playing by my lonesome. Yet another server required that I select a class. Farmer, Builder, Warrior, etc. Once you select your class you can NEVER change it. EVER. Each class could only tame certain creatures and use certain gear. Oh and don't get me started on mods. One server I tried had 46 mods that needed to load before you could ever log in. FORTY SIX. o.o

So after thinking it over, I have decided to create a new rp server that will allow a tad more freedom to the players. A server with rules but not to the extreme. A server with mods but not FORTY SIX. o.o

It has been over 3 years since I was an admin on the Wildlands server, so I am a bit rusty. So If there are players out there with an interest in helping me make this server, please msg me in Steam. I can fill you in on what I want to do and you can see if it is something that would interest you. Players with admin experience is a plus but beggars cannot be choosers. haha. I think with a good team, we could make something amazing. But only time will tell.

I have been playing on one of the top RP server lately DragonLords Roleplay. It's been fun, although the admins are not the nicest. But I thought you might be interested in knowing that this forum post gets mentioned a lot by players on that server. Most of the interest is about you War Seer, your history. and your super secret plans for this server. There are a bunch, maybe 20 to 25 players, that I have personal talked to that plan on checking your server out once it goes live. Just thought you might want to know that you're getting noticed. Pretty sure Dragonlords reign at the top might be about over once Realms goes live.

Doesn't surprise me. The admins on that server abuse power all the time. Players have to be getting sick of it. I hate admin abuse. Really interested in Warsy going into detail on how his server will prevent it.

We're currently wrapping up the details for setting up the server discord. Some of us have to learn or relearn how to use discord bots and set ups. ("^_^)
We want people to be able to join the discord but have to read through and acknowledge the current discord/in-game rules before they will gain access to the rest of the discord channels and such.
As for the server itself, we are still ironing out which mods we want to use and will need to do some extensive compatibility tests to ensure that everything is going to work together smoothly. As soon as the discord is available we will be definitely be releasing the link publicly, just be aware that the server itself might not be available for the public for a while longer.
We appreciate and love everyone's excitement and interest so far and hope that we will get to meet you all in-game in the near future! The amount of hype that War Seer has received far exceeded his expectations so we're trying to get everything set up as perfectly as we can so that everyone can have a great experience building and living in this world together.

While we have been waiting for your server, Mori and I decided to play on another rp server for a bit. We had played a while ago on it and have not played on it since. Come to find out they banned us but gave us no reasons why. Finally we were told that it was because of our interest in your server and our posts here. WTF?
I won't give out the name of the server to respect War Seers wishes BUT It pissed me off big time. What type of people ban you for looking around at other servers?

Yeah Scarlet and I did nothing to warrant being banned on that server. Being told by a jerkhole that we banned for having an interest in "Realms" was mind blowing. I would totally name the server. But I like and respect War Seer too much to add him into this drama.

Long story short, don't post on this forum if you think your current server admin would become butthurt and ban you.

War Seer, you have two ladies here that need your new rp server. We both cannot wait to join up.

I saw this and though, what an absolutely horrible thing to do. But then I thought maybe I should log in to make sure I wasn't part of this ban hammer. Much to my shock, I was. T

Their explanation:

*"It appears that you have an interest in another RP server and we feel that it is our best interest to let you go. We have removed you from *unnamed* discord and the *unnamed* gaming server. Please do not attempt to rejoin this server under a different name as that would be childish. Best of luck to you."*

So yeah, that happened. Mori, you are right, everyone should be careful posting here if currently on an RP server. I think the admins of these servers are worried about how big this server is becoming and they will remove anyone who mentions it. Out of fear of losing more people to it.

Very frustrating indeed.

First of all I want to thank everyone over the past 3 weeks who has sent friend requests and messaged me their curiosity and offers of support since I first posted my idea and interest in creating a server. The amount of excitement and support that I have received since that first post has been both overwhelmingly awesome as well as terrifying. I'm so glad to see players from my past as well as so many new ones who are interested in this new medieval/fantasy RP experience.

I want to make sure that everyone who joins the Discord understands that we are still in the process of testing mods and server settings. So there is currently Not an actual server to join. However we plan on giving updates and such whenever possible to keep our player base informed for when we do release the server officially.

On that note, we understand that the rules and guidelines we have currently are....well to be honest there's a lot. However we have spent countless hours discussing and debating them between ourselves and many of us come from vastly different play styles and opinions. These rules and guidelines we feel are the best balance between pvp and pve oriented game play and we hope that after reading through all the Rules and Guidelines you will also agree that it is at least a good start. We plan on adding more pvp opportunities in the future once we have an established player base.

And without further ado, the long awaited Discord server is now officially open for anyone and everyone to join! Please be sure to take the time reading through the rules before agreeing to them! We hope to see you wonderful mortals in-game soon!

!!! they removed my I love you post! Well I do Warzy. Your server is going to be absolutely amazing. Your team is great, your rules and lore are wonderful and your idea of having the lore be player driven is the icing on the cake.

Even with only the discord online this will be hands down the best RP server made in quite some time. I have yet to read anything on the discord that would make me look elsewhere. Super friendly admins, player driven lore, no admin abuse, limited mods. You need to get on the discord and join the community for updates now because this server is 100% perfection.

I would also like to point out that War Seer has not had to "bump" this server once to get it noticed. That alone should be reason enough to believe all the hype. I cannot wait to stake my claim in this new world. Hit that discord link and join me on Realms!

Starting to look like this server may be launching this weekend. Better keep an eye out so you aren't left out in the cold when the server gets full. Pretty sure it will get full. The discord has a large community very eager to start.
