How long will dead bodies duration last.
I wonder if a dinosaur is killed/dies. Does it decay? I mean, will we see the bones? If not, how long will it last before it disappears? Does it fade away or is it just ninja gone?

Bodies can be eaten an will be eaten by carnivores, otherwise probably 10 - 15 minutes. I know loot despawns after 15 minutes so I'd assume bodies go much faster maybe 5 minutes or so.

ok, thanks. Still wondering if they will have a visual decay thing going on (not really rotten but skeleton phase type thing around 7 mins or so.

Atm, they just go from "existing" to "gone". Perhaps we'll have several stages of decay later in development, but it's not the highest priority, I'm afraid.

That's alright! It's not like that's a MUST feature just a nice little touch down the line..Thanks for the reply!

Hardly an issue, I was rather curious about it. I already find it very cool that they stick around for 15 min. If it is technically possible at this stage, it would be nice if bodies faded way as opposed to just "poof, its gone" when 15 mins are up, its less glaring when it happens.
