Will there be different biomes? Like a mammoth will spawn in Snow biomes and so on?

Good question. Looking at the screenshots and the trailer it is mostly tropical. Maybe mammoths spawn higher up in the mountains?

i think they said they will do (swamps, jungles and plains ect.) and in the mammoth fact file it said they spend time traversing the mountains and sometimes visiting the lusher lower areas

i think it will be depending on your current location what kind of animals you will see (the beach might be a safe place beacause it's a spawn point for new players)

i reckon there might be a pattern or a rising level as danger when you go further inland from the beach. So when you leave the beach you may come to a jungle and go past it to find a plains biome. So the further inland you go the more dangers you face from different biomes

A few confirmed biomes that I know off of the top of my head are...
Caves
Coastal
Mountainous
Oceanic
Plains
Tropical Forest
Volcanic Caves

I want to believe that I read that there is not going to be snow, but that may have been a weather pattern decision other than a post about biomes.

In one of their audio interviews, they stated that Snow was not one of the Weather Effects they have in game yet. I am pretty sure they said it would be a thing, and this is compounded by the fact it would be pretty silly to bother adding in effects such as heatwaves, and not include one of the most easily recognizable weather effects, even if it is relegated only to the mountain tops where things like the mammoth live.

Oh, I fully agree that they will likely implement it, I forgot to state that I meant for initial launch. My mistake for not properly clarifying.
