Official Can I run it? thread

Hey guys,

Just starting this thread to help see if users can run the game :)

We haven't got full-specs/recommend out yet as it's still early days but hopefully I can shed some light!

Feel free to chip in.

Remember guys, this is just estimated settings. It's truly difficult to tell what exact fps you'll get, and the game is still being optimized so don't worry, we'll improve over time :)! Fiddling with settings is the best option ;)

can run the game in "good" quality settings, as my screenshots can proofe, but "only" with 15-20, MAX 25 FPS.

have to say, the game was instaled first at the HDD, moved it to the SSD and runs way better!

Thats all i want on my laptop too, medium 30fps...same GT740M, i5 4200 2.5GHz...but i think that the game need more work before we can use our laptops on medium+30fps... :(

I am rather distraught. I bought this game the moment it became available and looked up multiple sources that all said my computer exceeded the minimum requirements. Even on the lowest settings, running "extremely low memory," I cannot play. I just get a loading screen that almost never loads and hen it does, the lag is so bad that it is unplayable.

I ran it to title and got roughly 20-30fps. will need to tweak setings before I try a actual game but yes.

of course you can run it with that, even i3 can run it. just wait for the game to have some optimisation done and it will be easy to run. (i assume people buying i5-i7 buy the cg of the same caliber and not an 580...)

for other i run an :

and i can play the game i just have the reset cg bug (i just update my driver didnt test to see if it persist) ark config : all in low other than view distance and texture quality that are on med.

just some freeze in game but overhaul it is entirely playable... but yeah i did search on google for some opti for ark and found 2 file edited by someone on youtube time take : 30 min...

my cg is a thing of the past not even sold anymore x), my proc is the entry game for gaming but i can play it, even gta give me more headache to play it.

just stop looking for fps and look to have a game playable... i can have 300fps on HL but that dont change my life if he run at 30, the important is that the fps are stable... and wait that the game is finished before talking about fps...

as i know and in my opinion this game is GPU demanidng not CPU, for example when i paly it my cpu is on 15 to 20% load (its i7 4770k 4.0Ghz) and the GPU is on 30 to 40 % laod (Gigabayte GTX 970 G1 gaming ), also 5 GB of Ram is used while playing it so maybe your CPU will handel it while puting new GPU and at least 4Gigs more of RAM (8GB will be fine ) , and at the end when you have more money in the future replace also the CPU :D if you need any help by upgrading your rig feel free to add me on steam and ill explain you what would be best to buy considering your Budget limit :D i guess i helped yuo somehow xD

You guys will be able to run the game. You'll need to fiddle with the settings yourself to find your most optimal / preferred setup. I'm using a 970 and I can hit the top end avging about 24 FPS on a 1080p monitor. Got some things set to low though :)

found out u need to delte user settings in windows folder to make changes made in nvidia controlpanel. active cant overwrite it. :D
