Stat build guide?

I couldn't find anything good with a google search, it kept coming up with house building guides instead :D

What stats do you spend your points on?

Are some much better than others or are some completely useless?

In my opinion it depends on how you want to play the game.

If you build or haul alot around then you will want more points into weight limit, maybe some in health in case of dino or player attack.

Staminia is good if you PvP or fight dinos on foot often as its great for hit and run tactics or allowing you to attack more before you need to rest.

At some point they will fix the infinite air while under water on a aqua mount and then putting points into your oxygen skill will be a must have for under water building and fighting.

There are so many ways to play this game there nobody can give you a set build that works best for you.

Will my singleplayer build be used in multiplayer too?

I put points into weight at first and after dying 10 times in a row i put some points into melee as I got sick of dying.

No everything you do in single player is on your own game. Once you go online you make a new character per server. There is an option to transfer your character but only for the official servers.
