Megalodon size in game not match actual size?
Don't wanna gripe about it... but the in-game size of the monster shark isn't what I thought it would be.

I mean... I've seen one up close in game, I've seen a Rex tango with one that was in the shallows and the Rex looks almost the same size as it.

is the current model a placeholder? and yes I know there probably are other threads asking or complaining about the size but I was just curious.

Well when a Megalodon is born it isn't 35 feet long... They weren't ALL fully grown. I own a Megalodon tooth in real life that is only 4 inches tall. Some are 7+ inches tall.

Maybe they are baby ones, and they are going to placehold a larger one farther out to sea that eats you if you go too far out.

that would be interesting if we have very large river or very deep bay area in which we can see the likes of really big ones. I do agree though that there is no point in calling them megaladon if there all the size of great whites. Also wow does that t rex vs megaladon size comparison bring home how gigantic that monstrosity was.

Go out in the open ocean. That is where the big boys are.

is that mechanic or idea already in game, or is that what you hope/expect to happen.

I think the current size is fine. As with everything in this game, its the devs interpretation and not actually supposed to be a direct copy.

Also if you make all the dinos and megafauna to actual sizes you're going to run out of map room pretty quickly.

well i imagine they will make a dlc or expansion where we will get the ability to travel on sea to new islands or something cool like that, then in the depths of the ocean we will meet our creator

Until they introduce larger world sizes? Assuming they even do that.

lol now i just have the idea of cowering in fear from a t rex along the beach and all of the sudden a freakin massive mega comes ashore and freakin drags the t into the water

LOL hey wait until the dev's decide to add in another fantasy boss creature... Leviathan anyone? talk about topping the cake. Wait until they add the Mosasaurus thing is nearly the same size as a full grown Mega.
