How do you connect stone irrigation from water to crop plant?

The water is always below normal ground so how would you connect the irrigation tools? They don't seem to connect, and the crop plants cannot be built too close to the water so they go up.

start at your crops, use a vertical pipe in the center, then attach a tap to it. Then run the piping from the tap to the water source.


from the pictures, destroy the intake pipe and run either a vertical or a inclined to the water.


you can't start at point b, then stop and go to point A and build to point b.


it has to be all 1 run from start to finish.

edit* incase your new, the tap will provide the water, the piping doesn't actually connect to the crop plots. the tap has to be in range of the crop plots, and it will be considered irrigated.
