How to repair a Metal Pickaxe
Hey there,

so i tried to repair a metal pickaxe but i cant figure out how...
place the axe and mats in the smithy, nope
mats only, nope
pickaxe only, nope...

repair button is always greyed out...

any thoughts?

I think there may be something up here. While I myself are having the same issue as you, my buddy could fix the pickaxe that I was trying to fix, whereas I get the greyed out box.

put the pick in smithy and put the materials in YOUR inv and then put it in the smithy's inv. then craft

Run 10 miles to the nearest mountain, Get 2 metal from under a trexs legs run Back down to base.

^^^ this - the game needs to detect the mats in your inventory before you can repair it, but to do the repair they need to be on the smithy. It's a bug that I'm pretty sure the devs know about.

Also, there is a bug that sometimes if there are more than one tool or piece of armor or weapon in the smithy it wont repair.

you do the repair with the repair button in the smithy ui not in your own i was just watching a video and at 28 min or so it shows them repairing a pickax heres the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrLhjgUT3cY

Best Answer: Put the materials in the Smithy first then put your broken or damaged item in then click the repair button in the Smithy

The mouseover (what do you need) does not work when its in the smithy, but you need to make sure all the items required to repair it are in the smithy, and then put the item in the smithy and use the smithy's repair function
