where do raptors mostly spawn?

I've seen some on the west side of the island. Oddly enough I hardly ever see them down by the beach usually just up on the hillsides in the forest is where ive seen them.

i have a few raptors and a carnosaur on the west beach near where you spawn in single player.

Mcc, spawning is mostly random and determined by the dinos who are around (or not).
