Making a deck on second floor, and other building problems.

I'm trying to make a deck on the second floor of the house I'm building. I have a door frame and door. Can't use a foundation, so I tried using a wooden ceiling. Can't use the ceiling tiles because it says it is obstructed near while next to the door frame. Anyone figure out a way to do this?

I also tried to make ramps to make a traditional looking roof. Got to the top, but there is a 1 square gap inbetween the roof ramps. Can't finish with ramps because they go through each other and say obstructed. Can't use a ceiling, because they won't snap to it. Have nothing to plug the triangle shaped holes in the walls either.
