so i traind the dino needed for the founders saddle but for some reason i cant put it on the the dino, is this a bug or a strange glitch?

I'm not sure about this, but I believe the founder's saddle is actually a skin you apply to the regular parasaur saddle.

Its not actually a saddle.... It's a skin you apply to a parasaur saddle. Only for cosmetic value.

Its just a skin, you still need to craft the saddle which unlocks later.

it is a skin, it is bugged, patch 171 is supposed to fix it. should make it a habbit of checking the patch notes sticky when ever you first come on to the forums for the day. your questions might already be answered.

These things are a nuissance. They drop on your corpse when you die, so when you go and loot all, you have to drop them, or you'll end up with like 50 of them. Seems like these account reward items like this should be no-trade/no-drop.

true story, so i made a saddel for that parasaur and tried to applie the founder thing incase it is just a skin like the hat but it wasnt taking

Parasour founder saddle skin still not working. The patch didn't fix it.

works fine for me, i didnt apply it while the original saddle was on a mount though i applied it within my inventory with no problems at all just dragged and dropped it ontop.

IT'S NOT A SADDLE. IT'S A SKIN FOR A SADDLE.

You must craft the Parasaur saddle still. The item i nyour inventory just allows you to alter the look once a saddle has been placed on your dino. The hat is the same thing. You must make a hat first, then use the skin to change what it looks like.
