Is it possible to tame dodos? O.O

I thought not but I'm reading reviews where people say they tamed dodos lol. If so, how to do it?

Yes, but they are utterly useless and a waste of berries and time. On the other hand it is ridiculously hilarious to have an army of Dodo's kamikaze right into a Dildosaurus and all die.

Nope they arent a waste. taming a dodo will make it poo eggs for you. those will nourish you alot and you can use it in a bunch of recipes.

But dont use it for fightign tho. that you will regret :P

This is exacly my plan dude. Since I am too bad to tame trikes or raptors I will make an army of like two dozens of dods and OVERWHELM the enemy.

Plus they lay poop, even though the gardening system is completely weak right now, so they'd be good poop dispensers (when that's fixed).

As of right now, you might as well farm berries in a field / forest with a triceratops than use gardening plots.

Dodo's could very well be the chicken of Ark. Eggs, meat, fertilizer. Very much worth the idea of having a dodo farm and add a little culinary depth.

Yeah that would be cool. having them breed like chickens in minecraft and not having to worry half of the time because youre dying of starvation lol.

Im wondering about taking a bunch of dodos home for a coup (roaming mode soon!),
but ive got a couple questions about these silly little flamingochickens.

- Taming, fists or slingshot? And do they even need narcotics to tame?
- Animal husbandry, what happens if you keep 2 couples together? Double mate boost? :p
- Eggs, do they hatch somehow, and if so, are the hatchlings domesticated?
- Food, what is their favorite, and how difficult is it to keep em fed?

I kinda wanna keep a bunch of em in the base of my tower, just for the sake of that adurbl coo'ing sound they make. :3

Dodos are awesome and very easy and quick to tame. Just knock 'em out with a few choice punches to the back of the head, then when unconscious it takes about 5 - 10 minutes to tame one, just fill em up with about 100 berries (mixed) and a handful of narcos to keep them under.

They provide - eggs, poop, and hilarity if you can get 10+. It's quite awesome to be mother-duck with a single file line of dodos following you around :)
