Dont go into Fullscreen mode
when changing to fullscreen mode it acts similar to when Dark Souls II:Scholar of the First Sin released, force minimizing itself eery time you try to open it :/

I wouldn't recommend fullscreen in any game if the game has Fullscreen Windowed mode, always go for that option.
I usually do but this time was fooling around with ifferent settings trying to get it to work :/

for me started in full screen and i can not change the option because the option menu is hided over the bottom of the screen how can i change this??
I was able to access the options menu fine

You could try alt + enter or F11, nether of those worked for me but hey, you never know right?
Go to common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor and open GameUserSettings.ini scroll down until you find

ResolutionSizeX=1600
ResolutionSizeY=1000
LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeX=1600
LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeY=1000
WindowPosX=-1
WindowPosY=-1
bUseDesktopResolutionForFullscreen=False
FullscreenMode=1

Set your resolution and set FullscreenMode to 1 which I believe is Windowed Fullscreen, if not then it is 2.
I uninstalled it :P currently re-installing (Also hoping maybe fix the infinate loading screens)

I have used Fullscreen since day 1 with no issues.
Works fine for me
It WAS working before :/ with this latest update I guess t messed something up
odd behaviour for some it appears.

I have no issue with fullscreen. Ran the game that way from start and then checked out
windowed mode but went back to using fullscreen.

No issues .

I alt tab out without issue and find the game well behavied in that regard.

Nvidia GPU system though, maybe it is a issue with other hardware types?
Win 7 too. Maybe you are using another version Windows?

May have ust glitched it out or something :P thans for the help guys

If you have Teamviewer installed, Exit teamviewer and it should not minimize any longer.
You do realise i made this post 7 months ago right? And that might actually have ben the problem cause i did have teamviewer running :P
Coincidentally, full screen gives me "blue screen of death" so there's that.

Shifty did necro the thread, but it's a good thing to refresh in the forums every once in a while as some are still unaware of the Teamviewer issue, which still exists.
