Help Stuck in 3rd Person

I for some reason am stuck in 3rd person mode while on foot. It should be first person but somehow I got switched to 3rd and it is frustrating. I tried deleting my local save in the saves folder (both localprofiles and savedarklocals folders). Anyone else have this problem or know a config file or something to change it back. Pressed every single key on the keyboard to get it back.

Either press K, or scroll with your mousewheel.

Thank you, it was the mouse wheel, Wish they would have put that in the controls.

My guess is, it's a feature they still haven't added to the control scheme, but most likely will add later on.

i have the same problem i am stuck in 3d person but can walk comlpetly normal use my inventory and tools but i can't get back to first person.

Yep me too I'm stuck in the 3rd person view
i can walk,craft,fight .... but in 3rd person ^^ K doesn't work (It like an "orbit" view of my character) Mouse wheel does nothing :(

You should be able to restrict 3rd person view when you start up a local game too.

oh finally found out how... its been bugging me for an hour.... and its so simple... the Devs really need to put it in the controls tab... cheers for the assistance mate..

holding the shift key while scrolling with the mouse wheel does the trick. "K" wasn't really working for me either.
