Using map location command
How do I actually use it? Like do I put it in my batch file for loading the game? you didn't really give me any syntax for it at all. The map is pretty worthless to me and the landmarks, as they are, make navigation inordinately difficult. I know you want people to push for compass and GPS in the late game but I'd rather wait till these "more distinct landmarks" come up before relying on those.

Use light tower to pinpoint . Water fall(each fall have its own style). Tree type . Water color.

Hopefully soon. Cause with the rapid-fire discussions on this game, my thread is getting buried off the first page super fast even with 50 topics per page selected

Nooot really that helpful but thanks. I get what you're trying to say, but they said they added a command line argument to add player icons to the map, and I'd like to figure out how, since I host a server for me and my friends.

Ok I want player icon on map also. That player icon on map is gps no?

figured it out, it has to do with your boot.bat file to boot up your server you add the command there

its the .bat file you create when you host your own server

Could you give me some syntax? Like where in the .bat? On another line as a command? Or in the launch command?

I didnt create a bat file. I just hit the host server button.

It would be really awesome if someone had an answer...I have seen youtube videos of people with the settings changed.
