The tanks themselves are obviously much too small, nothing that large should only have the capacity of two waterskins. On top of that, it'd be nice to place the tank, then attach the pipe instead of the other way around.
The devs have a great concept with this game, but my faith in their balancing abilities is really starting to falter.
Yeah, the tank is very tiny, making it useless. I wouldn't suggest wasting engram points or resources on it. It would have to be an order of magnitude larger to be even a little useful.
you understand this is an alpha right? meaning getting the game to a functioning state is the main focus you probably wont see them focus to much on balancing until Beta
as for the water tower i think holding 1500 units (10 jars) would be about right for how much they cost to build getting 3-4 of them should give you enough water to last between rain storms However it would still be more cost effective just to build a bunch of jars to leach of a single tower :/
Many years later and its still the same lol.
water tanks are only useful in pvp when you build away from water or can't protect water pipes outside your walls
in pve/solo it's pretty much useless
I dunno, they can be really useful when you are miles from water but on a wet map.
