Fabricator doesnt work?

i did try fabricator on my test server and couldnt craft or get anything from it

Gotta hook it up to a generator, with cables and junction box, and turn that generator on ;)

But that's the problem. To construct a generator you need a fabricator.

Sorry, been up for too long so I forgot the process: Fabricator actually works off gasoline directly. So make some gas (Oil & Hide), and put that into the Fabricator, then turn it on! Will update the description to make this clear. :)

How do you create gasoline? I have hide and Oil but see no option anywhere to mix

Put both the hide and oil in the Refining Forge and turn it on, wait a few and you'll have gasoline. ;)

What do you mean junction box? Ive looked through the entire engram list and the dont see a junction box, do you mean the electrical outlet? Do we have to put the electrical outlet on the generator then electrical cables to the outlet? If so I cant seem to get the outlet to snap to the generator. Also I cant figure out how to raise the cables so I can see what Im doing, they are all in the floor of my building.

how do you turn it on? there is no option for that.

I get take all from inventory
Drop all Items
Drop item
Repair item
Remote use item

with the last 3 being greyed out


When I hold E on it I get access inventory and Demolish

just press "E" when you stand infront of it, or open the fabricator inventory and look for turn it on (or something like that)

ya thats what I am saying there is nothing that says turn this puppy on. there is just the options I mentioned and when I press e it opens it up. I have oil and hide in it.

the oil and hide go into the refining forge to make gas. the gas goes into the fabricator.
