How to save your character

If i try switching server i cant click on the download ark survivor because it wont give me any survivors to choose from, how do i transfer a character from one server to another?

I believe the only way to move a character from one Ark to another is by getting to something called an obelisk. Then you can save the character and load it on another server. No idea how to actually do that, but I think it's a pretty advanced task.

Can't do it from official servers as of right now http://imgur.com/a/R2uRE This is a picture of me at an Obelisk. There is no option to upload a character. Devs haven't responded to me yet.

dont thnk thats it thats the thing we summon the broodmother for i have no clue why or what she is for....they might not have added that funiction yet dunno would like to kno too cuz my lvl 10 is on a server i cant get on cuz its always full :/

You hit the Transmit Ark Data button. It's broken at the moment I believe.

Yeah, dont do it or it ♥♥♥♥♥ up your character. Had a level 16 that was deleted thanks to the bugginess of it.

The developers have responded to this issue in another thread. They're using some Steam features for this and right now it isn't working, but will very soon.

Maybe dev can prioritzie this cause with full and unavailable servers due to patch sucks a bit

I have a character on an unofficial server, but it became so laggy, i can't play there anymore.
I would like to transfer.

Maybe it's not there but on the sky so not everyone who just started can get to it xD

i managed to upload , my character, but when it died i lost teh caracter

it does work, but apparently, when i died on my local server with my character imported from an unofficial server it was lost. godammit it was lvl 15 and spent liek 7+ hours on it -.-
