How to make dyes?

How do i make a dye?
I have made a pestal and mortar, i have placed it, i have put red berries in it and i also have a paint brush. Does any one know how to make a dye?

You need the cooking pot to make dyes

cooking pot with the waterskin pouches put them in the pot with at least 20 berries youll get a quantity of 5 dyes

Not working for me, I've put more than 20 berries even, and tried the waterskin pouch both full and empty and no luck.

this is gonna sound stupid but did you light the fire xD .........try upping the berries and putting 2 waterskin pouches in, btw did you fill up the waterskin pouch

Yes, the fire was lit, and yeah, as I said, I tried using the pouch both full of water and empty, neither worked. How long does it take to create after lighting the fire? I let it use up like, 5 logs and still nothing happened.

should pound everything in i use 20 tintoberries, 2 waterskin and 13 logs

Do you have to do anything to the berries beforehand, like using the mortar and pestel? I can't even figure out how to get that thing working.

Aha, there is one key ingredient that is a bit of a secret (there are some recipe notes to find in the game but here you are):

Each dye requires a couple charcoal as well :)

For example to make red dye put into your lit cooking pot: 1 filled water container, 2 charcoal, and 15 tintoberry

Then wait a little bit and watch :)

Thats probally why i used up so much wood :L but i guess i was right on some lines as burning wood leads to charcoal xD

I put everything but white barries in the cooking pot and all I'm getting is white, I've tried combo's of barries, single color barries....the narco barries give me white dye...I'm so confused.
