But then there is no option to let the night go by more quickly? Don't want to explore the island at night, dangerous enough at day, already. :D
Atm you cant really sleep, normalle you would "sleep" when you log off, but since the singleplayer world also stopps when you go offline you never sleep.
You cannot sleep in sleeping bags or beds. They're just for respawns.
Also, yeah. Don't eat the black berries.
what I do is I explore during the day, hunt etc. At night I build on my base, gardens etc. I also craft at this time.
I think it is a more effective use of the time since sleep is not part of the equation.
You can light torches around your base.
As stated sleeping bags are one time ues.
A bed is a better thing to have. If you die you have the choice to respawn there.
Also, if you build other bases you can build a bed in each. That way you can transport between bases. (not sure if it is a bug or not) The only catch is you leave all of your gear behind. So you need to have gear at the other base too.
At least it is that way in single player.
