Taming Help?

I've been trying to tame various things and I haven't been able to do it yet. I fill their inventory up with food (berries for herbivores and raw meat for carnivores) and it says "Taming..." but the unconscious bar drains quicker than the taming bar fills up. Then they wake up and attack again.

Are you supposed to have to knock them unconscious multiple times to tame them? Is there something I'm missing? Is there a stat that affects taming speed? Is there a different food I should be using?

Use Narcoberries to keep them unconscious. You will need quit a few. You will to feed them to the dinosaur yourself bu using the "remote use" key, or something like that. I forgot what it's called.

No, It shows you there health, when the unconscious gets lowered, watch there health and just punch them while there unconscious. The unconscious bar will fill up slightly depending on how much unconscious bar has dispersed. Hope that helps =)

Use them how? Feed them the berries?

Hilariously, you can punch them in the head over and over to reset their unconscious bar. This can be done until they are at very low health at which point it will kill them. Also, you can feed herbivores narcoberries which will put them to sleep.

Narcoberries, or just punch them a few more times while they're still unconscious (but not enough to kill them!)

some narco berry keeps them asleep stim berry wakes them up
go int its inventory and give it narcoberry then click the berry and force feed it by clicking the remote use thingy down below.

When you knocked out a dino, put whatever he likes to eat in his inventory and some narco berries. When his bar is depleting manual use the narco berries. They add 10 points of knockout per berry.
