Fast Travel?
Hello, I just bought the game, I started a local game (because all the servers are full) and I built a bed. I understood that if you die you will respawn in your bed. But when I go to the bed I can see "type E for fast travel (drops items)" and I don't know what will happen and what is the purpose of this thing. Can you please help me?

Also, I forget : that's an awesome game, GJ to the devs !

hello, press m to open map than press p to set mark than in bed you can teleportating on this marks :)

ok thanks a lot, so if I understand, if you are lost you can make a bed and teleport to a marker which for exemple represent your base. But you lost all your stuff

Yeah when you teleport you drop all of your Equipment and Inventory. So be careful.

Yeah. So it's only useful if you are traveling between bases.

but what the ♥♥♥♥ happens to the items are they deleted or dropped in a cache

They are dropped at the location of the bed. Personally I just stash them in a nearby storage chest when I'm popping between bases.

Is it instant or is there some load screen inbetween?

semi- instant. u just "wake up' at the location

I wish there was a mod to make it so stuff doesn't drop. All I want to do is get a bird from my other base on the other side of the island to go scouting. BUT I CAN'T! :steamsalty:

Is the stuff that drops only in the inventory slots or does it also include your armor slots and your 10 quick bar items?

Everything, you will drop hotbar as well.

There are a few, I would highly recommend Awesome Teleporters, it is, well, awesome.

naw man Stargates are the way to go...the just fit with the theme...
