Head bobbing makes me motion sick

I turned off motion blur, but the constant head bobbing when your chopping a tree or mining some stone is nauseating, is there anyway for this not to occur?

I agree. I bought the game because I read that there was an off toggle for headbob, and yet mining or using weapons makes me nauseus. Why the hell is it necessary for the whole screen to shake when you use a slingshot? Who the hell finds that realistic?

I want to play this game so bad!! I cant play for that long though because it gives me headaches. If I could turn off or reduce the head bob, I would be able to spend more time in game.

yep, as much as i love this game, and believe me its a 10/10 already for me ( i spend the larger part of my life gaming due to illness ), absolute best game ive played in years .. i have to afk much more than any other game due to headaches from the camera shake, would be nice if the slider went a little further down to give the option to remove completely or make the motion very slight, pls add when you guys have the time and great job so far :)

Not a fix for the game but buy some travel sickness tablets for when you start feeling really ill. When mine gets set off it can last a whole day unless I take a tablet.

there is 3rd person if the server allows it.

Is there any ETA on a fix/option for this?
The animation for using the hatchet or pick axe are highly uncomfortable to watch and induce motion sickness - 3rd person mode is no solution.

It would be really great if we could just turn this of like camera shake.

Defiantly needs a setting. But scrolling into 3rd person helped me a bit when farming resources.

Im going to add my agreement to the OP. Seriously. Why wasn't a head bob dissable part of the default options? FOV and multiple movement axis sensativity, sure... But no dissable head bob? Even minecraft had this in its pre-pre-alpha.

If its not added soon. I'm affraid I'm going to have to opt for a refund. I simply can't pay the game for longer than 15 minutes at a time. So much wood gathering... So many head aches.
