36 square kilometers? That's decently large (the equivalent of a 6000x6000 Minecraft map), although I'm curious how much of that is actually walkable.

Most is walkable. Just the cliffs aren't. But they have fliers which gives access to all of the map. Not to mention the caves in the game are pretty large and the ocean I can spend a longer time exploring than the land even with it being technically smaller.
