Dino Healing
i was wondering if there was a dino healing method or if they just regen hp over time, for example my t-rex attacks a player he kills them but in the process he took a bunch of bullet shots, do i take out a bandage and heal him or does he regen on his own? and if he regens on his own about how long would it take a half hp dino to go to full?

Or give us healing powers of nature so we can mend our dinos!

So, as of v192 anyway, Medical Brew (which normally heals 40HP) does not affect dinos. Raw Meat heals 5HP per use and Cooked Meat heals 8HP.

Raw Prime Meat heals nothing, for some reason.

Cooked Meat Jerky heals 8HP as well, while Cooked Prime Jerky heals nothing. I haven't tested the other foods.

raw meat is the best for healing dinos ^^

No, I just tested it and Cooked Meat heals more. Try for yourself.

Don't make me publish a freaking video like I feel like I always have to.

There needs to be either a modification to the Medical Brew for Dino's or just something else that can heal them up while you are taming them that does not cause a taming effect

Narcotics will also heal dinosaurs, tamed or being tamed.

Herbal tea would be a great addition. I wonder if the various cooking recipies can be used on dinos? Anyone try? There are a few that increase health regen.

Whenever my dinos are injured I just force feed them berries or meat with the remote use button. Speeds up the healing process.

you can try feeding a tamed dino the lazarous chouder to increase the healing rate, just have the food in its inventary and click the remote use button and the dino will then have enhanced healine for the duration of the food effect which i think is 15 mins.

Hi i'm playing on an unofficial "Forsaken Island". Last week i tamed a high lvl T-rex and started stacking HP, now it has 43000+ HP so far. When its low i realy have a hard time getting HP back. I tryed raw/cooked meat with HP regen from Lazarus Chowder but it doesnt seem to help when you have 43000+ HP, and force feeding raw/cooked meat is tiresom gameplay with that amount of HP. Does anyone know how to deal with this problem?

I tamed a 168 rex and upped it's health to 50k and he was healing for several days. Nothing you can do other than force feed it meet. A quicker way would be to make a left click macro I'd you are able to and set the click per second very high so it feeds the 20 meat instantly.
