Does the raining system extinguish our camp fire ?
Does the raining system extinguish our camp fire, even under a roof ? (could be a bug)

Are you predicting bugs before you've got your hands on the game? O.o

They do not put out fires as of current.

We debated having campfires exposed to the sky (and torches for that matter) become automatically extinguished by rain. It's technically easy for us, but we thought that it was probably not-fun since it would make hunting at night (a substantial portion fo gameplay) in the rather frustrating. We may reconsider this however if players are really in for it, as we progress ;)

Please do make it extinguish that would be awesome.

I'd say work out all the crazy weather you want first then maybe re-enable it? It's just a small thing that would be neat later on giving more credence to having good shelter

Imagine exploring a super dark cave when a gust of wind comes through and blows out your torch..light it back on and surrounded by horrible things :P

What about adding lighting items that you can carry that are not effected by rain? such as lanterns or flashlights or is that already in there?

Exactly give us a reason to want to advance technology otherwise I'm just going to mass produce tier one light sources as they are cheap.
