PVE i guess would be a uncertainty, if the creatures do have any relevant detection system that isn't too OP as to aggrovate them from three square kilometeres away with a single drop of blood, and them not being dumb enough to only aggrovate when getting close to proximity (subjective to the creature) i guess we'll have to entrust the dev team for now.
Predator cloaking sounds silly, but as a suggestion, a end game cloaking device (not as complicated as it sounds, as for visual effects, you could have it merely break up your character's model into tiny dots or slivers that are hard to see from far away and have a limited battery) or even ghille suits and camoflage for different terrains that should be slightly customisable as to modify it with a palette of colours to give players control.
Bright pink camoflage for diving into a raptor nest guns blazing? Sure. Ok.
Idk if I am on board with 'classes' per say but as that kind of locks you in...but I like having a variety of abilities to chose from and master that lead you to a role the more you use them.
SO excited for this game!
Thief and Assassin's Creed have great stealth mechanics that I am hoping will make it's way into the game but time will tell.
I don't like the idea of locked in classes but I do like having the option of adjusting your builds/playing style that can be identified as "classes" just like how we would assign imaginary classes based off of our skill tree and attributes in the Diablo franchise. Having said that I think it would be a nice option to be able to follow that idea of being able to re-adjust your builds/skills without having to start your game over. I don't like the idea of doing it any time on the fly but I think it would be cool to have like a mysterious pool of enlightenment & cleansing where you enter it and it resets your attributes and skills allowing you to re-adjust your build.
Darts would be an awesome touch and I was really happy to hear the devs mention that there will be silencers and sniper rifles :)
