Welcome Survivors to this great thread to learn about the new and upcoming animals that will land in your Ark! This informational thread will include all you need to know about any animal.

I want to say a special Thank You to the Devs for adding my custom name for the Ape officially into the game. When the dossier dropped with just ????? Instead of a name. I made the name Megapithecus up for the ape because it needed a name. With the latest update I learned the devs actually started calling it megapithecus too. Im honored to have had a part in making the game, even just this tiny part. Thank you Wildcard Studios!

Please note that:

1. I AM NOT A DEV, Ive been getting a lot messages/friend request's from people who think I am.
2. Animals Listed as INGAME are ingame, Ones that are listed as CONFIRMED are still in development.
3. Male and Female versions of each species are ingame.
4. Each Species will have several different skins and sizes for variation. (procedural growth will be arrive when breeding is implemented, but colors are already implemented on launch.)
5. Once breeding is implemented, baby dinosaurs will be a thing too. Along with Egg stealing dinosaurs(Breeding has been confirmed to be coming either at the end of September.
6. There's around 25,000-30,000 NPCS on the Ark. Yes, this is true and OFFICIALLY confirmed.
7. Animals are listed as who was confirmed first. Alphabetical order will come when everything has been confirmed.

Pliosaurs evolved from plesiosaurs, necks got shorter, heads got bigger, than mosasaurs evolved, and then, they ruled the ocean.BTW like the new profile pic

Also, I have a book about the ocean, and it says that in prehistoric times, placodonts and ichthyosaurs ruled, but then in the Early Jurassic, the plesiosaurs replaced the placodonts, and in the Late Cretaceous, the mosasaurs had replaced the ichthyosaurs. Would that be true?

I think, in mid jurassic plesiosaurs had evolved into pliosaurs, then, Mosasaurs had the Whole Cretaceous, I could be wrong, but thats what I have learned.

ok, read to page 10 of this thread, not reading more..lol, however, if we have dragons, we need a few more Mythical creatures such as grypons or hydras...also, i am waiting to see if we get a hint at the beings who built the obilisks and populated the Ark, my guess is either a very old race thats been hidden somehow or aliens with a sinister agenda.......

As a side note i would have mentioned Unicorns and Pegasai, but then we would have bronie fever......lolz

Peagasai(Pegases?Sorry, I don't know plural mythologigal animals that well.) would be cool, normal horses too.And of all pictures I have seen while googling Pegasus I haven't seen ANY MLP pics.Horses , maybe Quapi? Don't think I got name right.Related to Modern Day zebras, hunted and starved to death, like aurochs and dodos, lost their habitat too. Aurochs would be cool.Milk, cattle, good source of hide.Dodo eggs, stimberry coffee, and phiomia bacon to start the day off right.I also got a new profile pic, Raptor, Achillobator
