What map are you on? I have a 5 map cluster and it seems to only be spawning Christmas color Dinos on the Island and Fjordur. Scorched Earth, Gen 2 and Ragnarok seem to be spawning them sporadically as they did in the past.
Some questions and request to reconfirm:
1. You say you did a dino wipe but just again to confirm, you did a "destroywilddinos" command that caused then -all- your dinos to be removed from the map.
2. You have correctly enabled the event in the correct command settings spot in your server settings for the event.
3. Are you using modded content? If so list all mods by name and in their specific load order. Mods may be conflicting with the event, especially ones that add different dinos and thus overriding the event color ones potentially(if a poorly done mod). And there could be other things in recipe from mods causing it.
4. Have you altered your wild dino count in settings either above or below the default dino count amounts?
5. During the event after a proper dino wipe and a proper setting up of the event etc etc etc, you should be seeing more than 1 or two examples of the event colored dinos. If you did an improper wipe (or none) the dinos will only have a -random- chance of spawning with the colors based on the dinos that depopulate(either through tame, death, etc) when those dino spawn nodes repopulate as normal. Thus in that case it can look/be small respawning with colors that would match your current situation.
1. I used the command 'destroywilddinos'
2. I enabled the event according to the instructions from the gportal website and video tutorial
3. I have no mods and its a vanilla sever
4. I have my dino count set to max 1.0 when it would've been 0.8
If so... then it just sounds like lousy RNG luck. The event appears to be working.
Have you modified any ini files?
