Dinopethicus & boss Arena's?

so the LSS of this my group & I are finally around to playing Lost island & we want to know if the Baboons can be used in boss fights OR since they're a climber are they banned in most like Thylas?

I've googled & that turned up no info one way or the other not even the wiki's say definativly we'd like to know before we start breeding.

Afaik every dino can enter as long as its weight is no bigger than 560 ( with empty inventory and no saddle )

Put monke on elevator and check how much it weights.

I mean if rex can, mammoth , why wouldn't dinopithecus can't?

Only climber dinos like drake or thyla can't enter and flyers usually ( and platform dinos ). I mean Deinonychus is a climber, and cant enter boss arenas. Well kinda he is more of a jump-climber.

by that Logic dude then a Thyla SHOULD be able to enter but Thylas are banned in all arenas apart from Aberation's because it's a Climber just like the Dinopethicus is a climber. Telling me the weight thing is useless cause a Thyla's only a 440 & it can't enter most arena's.

The thyla thing is a just an outdated thing, they never fixed.

With power creep, and all the ridiculous things they've added since then, it doesn't make any sense. But it's not getting changed anytime soon.

Yes, dinopithecus can be used in the arena. People have put up videos of their boss battles using dinopithecus.

In fact, on that map, I think dinopithecus are meant to be the go to super predator you're intended to use. Just like shadowmanes in genesis 2's boss battle. Sure you can use other things, but if you had never played on any other ark map, and started a new character on that map... pretty sure they intended you to gather a baboon army for the boss battles. Just my opion, don't know that for a fact.
