Fall damage?

So, im not sure when i noticed a difference but somehow it seems fall damage is drastically higher for my singleplayer experience than it used to be. Prior to this session, last time i played was about 5 months ago. I always cap my hp at about 400, and typically speaking i wouldnt die from even pretty silly falls, upwards of 50-60 feet

Lately though iv been finding virtually any fall lethal. It seems i cant even get away with a 15ft drop without folding like a lawn chair. I know i know, realism and physics, but the point is this does not match up with my previous game experience. Im not sure when, why, or how this got changed, but is there something i can do about it? Im absolutely tired of dying any time i fall at all. Cant even dismount my giga without a trip to the bed

did you changed the settings last time you played?
or did you use any mod that might had something to do with it?

I believe 500 is the maximum HP damage you can take from a fall. Found this out on official one day when I tried to kill myself and respawn in a bed.

Not that it answers your question, since you shouldn't be dying from a 15 ft drop, unless you mind wiped or something.

If you were on a server with stat modifiers than your stats would reset when the server does until you either die or fast travel on a bed, which would cause the multipliers to apply, but again, you're talking about single player.
