Do you need All DLC for 100% Achievements?

One of the achievements requires The Center map. All the others can be completed on the default map.

As it requires maxed out level cap from all ascensions from what i heard.

It's the achieve i struggled the most to get and gave up trying.

EDIT: I am also unsure the Master Zoologist is possible on just The Island map either. (Tame ALL tameable creatures)

According to the wiki, no. It refers to the maximum level without ascensions and chibis, which is 105.

Again, the wiki lists the creatures required. I don't see any that require a DLC map.

The only questionable one is the one to get a dino to the maximum level. That may or may not require a Genesis-specific dino because it raised the number of levels a tame can acquire. But I've seen comments both ways.

The wiki might be outdated.

I reached level 105 on few occassions with different chars and didn't get the achieve. I also read articles that it does require ascending.

It specifically says that ascensions are not required, and you can find people who have gotten the achievement without owing any of the DLCs. Some even getting it in the 40s, when playing on Beginner servers (where the level was capped at 44). It seems that the achievement may only care about the maximum level you can achieve with what you have available. So installing the DLCs may just make the achievement harder to get. Ark has enough bugs though it may be hard to determine just what is going on.

Achievements not popping when they should is also not uncommon on Steam.

Keep in mind said people might have gotten the achievement when the level cap was lower than it is now.

I don't want to argue but i could not get this achievement on level 105 and recent-ish guides and topics i seen regarding getting this achieve mentioned requiring ascending on Aberration or cheating in ascensions via console commands.

Hmmm i did attempt this achieve with official DLCs installed in my game.
So perhaps that's why i could not get it on 105.

I got the Maximum Survivor achievement on the 16.01.2021 and I had no DLC's installed to that time, so I'm sure that it has something to do with that.

Also, for the Perfect Explorer you need the Genesis Season Pass, because of the HLN-A notes on The Island and you can only scan it with the HLN-A skin equipped.

The Master Zoologist achievement can be done only on The Island, although I found it more easily to tame some creatures on free DLC maps.
