i tried to download the ark fjodur map and now when i try to start any map it says UE4-shootergame crashed and will close

Are you loading a save by any chance and if so, how many mods and what mods.

i am really not an expert but i would say delet the game and the files the best way if you deinstall it completly like everything and next time dont install the map...... make sure to delet to the cloud from ark then it should make it work......... if not i personnaly have no idea annymore and would say : use chatgpt i mean it not the greatest way but its mostly garandied, i had graphic issuse (becaus of ark) and chatgpt helpt BUT its the best way to ask your gaming brother or friend becaus they are persons you can speak and think of an way.......................................................................... hope i helpt

Terrrible advice without asking questions first cause your more then not will waste people's time and there can be quite a few fixes before you should resort to do that such a adding this to steam parameters: -ForceRespawnDinos

We should know if its on savelood and if mods are involved/what mods.

What is the coincidence of that error popping up at the same time regardless of hardware type! I have played Ark since the Beta edition. First time for the error! It is also a coincidence the error showed up all around May 10! Check Reditt and here!

This game is so bad at handling errors, that the game will crash instantly - meaning you need to try and run stock settings on pc. Specificly cpu and gpu

OP didnt specifically shown what crash message he got apart from the default title of shooter game being crashed.

In what world are these the same?

I really only had crash due to overspawning on Caballus fyi and yes, my situation was with mods such as paleo.

If you want help, provide everything.
