oviraptor is broken in SE. Basically clans can have huge egg farms, while u cannot. Ovirapter is so hard to tame that only clans can tame one.
Also the ovirepter in SE doesnt collect eggs.
Manyt things r better in ASA (ovirapter collects eggs and is easily tamed with a few eggs)

i tamed dinosaurs fine and got oviraptors easy enough as I built through the stages. In both games Oviraptors have little difference in game and tbh have only a little part to the whole game. But since you know this from everyone elses posts on your thread... How about dont try to derail other peoples threads.

ASA was the only game I ever sent back on Steam. Horrid FPS and sooooo maaannnyyy broken systems. LOADS @ our place just threw it away and r w8n phor ARK 2.

Long w9 maybe, but ASA is good in principle but v poor in practice.

To much grass and refractions give abysmal phrame r8s.

LMAO. You obviously don't play ASA or you would be appalled at the number of bugs. ASE is 100 times better AND the DLC works!

If it's anything like Evo there will be mods to filter the content I don't like. So far I like what I see in ASA, only thing I don't like is its miserable performance on high end computers.

Payed mods is a choice and DLC aren't alway meeting anyone's criterias.

I heard that the paid tames are bordering on P2W in ASA and from what i saw unlike ASE they are not accessible to those who don't own the DLC pack/paid mod even if you encounter them on the server it gives you a message to buy dlc if you try to tame them.

Which is kind of problematic for a large multiplayer game like ASA with pvp.

Personally, I can play ASA..

ASE: Start a game fine, build a base in a couple hours
Shutdown the game and go to bed.
Wake up load the game and save wont load.

Tried without mods, same thing, any save is instantly corrupted when I close the game.

ASA loads fine, uses mods fine, everything just... works.

They added p2w to ASA as well as some mods cost money that are free on ASE.

ASE is objectively the better game. ASA is just ASE with EA scum mindset.

ASE is better at this point. ASA will be a good game if the stick with it but I don't expect them to really work on the bugs until most maps are done. And even then if ARK2 becomes a real game they will focus on that and drop most of the programmers from ASA to work on ARK2 so they may never really fix most bugs.

Not bordering, but overtly/intentionally are.

Their micro transactions were predictably going to be hefty but it is the premium mods(paid) program where the mod maker only gets 50% of the revenue from a a sale and WC splits the other 50% with Curseforge that has been a strong mtx as well.

Symptoms you describe sounds like you used bad mods/load order, got the save corrupted and then erroneously thought removing the mods would remove the corruption. Saves can be corrupted beyond repair even if removed in some cases.

As far as issues with playing ASA, well, all anyone has to do is see the forums over there for their daily issues people have in abundance(ie more than here typically).
