Ark multiplayer

Hello I have a question about multiplayer, so my friend bought Ark on Steam and I bought Ark on Epic Game, can we play together? Because we tried once but failed .

Yes you can but only without Mods and only a dedicated server with the setting to allow Epic and Steam to play together. You wont be able to play if its not a dedicated session.

Thank you very much for the quick answer, do you know how I can play with my friend in dedicated server? because I don't remember how they did it

you need the setting set for the server boot
-crossplay

This allows Epic and Steam to play together.

1. No mods.
2. -crossplay setting enabled.
3. Ensure other discrepancies like firewalls, ports etc are as they need to be.
