Game won't go really fullscreen

When i put the game in a lower resolution, and set it to fullscreen, what i expect is that the game will strecth and use all the screen (FULLscreen ), instead it add black borders, just like it moved the window to the center, and painted black the rest.

I have a 1800(not 1080) vertical resolution laptop, and it can't handle this game at that resolution, so i have it set up for 900p, but if i put it in fullscreen it's just a tiny windows in the center of the screen (if my math are correct, the game itself occupies 25% of the screen surface).

It only seems to happen with this game, and i have updated graphics driver, and tried diferent things found on other sites.

set your correct screen res and use the "res scale slider" instead.

I went into Settings on the main menu and changed from, then back to, Full screen under Window Mode. This got rid of the black border / black lines around the game, without actually changing the Window Mode setting. This seems to reset the game back to proper full screen mode.

Go to settings and see if you're on full screen or Window mode

its stupidly windows text dpi setting at 150 percent interacting with ark text set windows text dpi size to 125 percent max and it will work again my friend
