Giant Boulder = 4 Stone
Sorry, but what? Who tought this would be a good idea?
A small dead tree gives 10 or more wood but a giant Boulder give almost no stone?

This is a bad joke, right? It makes absolutely no sense at all.

Try using an axe on the stones.

I had trees give me 2 wood with axe. And 20 stone to break my pick on a boulder.
Look at 179.2 patch notes - they're already starting to let server operators tweak resource rates. Pretty soon we'll be able to adjust recipe costs and per-object resource numbers. Before you know it, somebody will release a 'realistic harvest' "mod" which will be a collection of server presets, and you'll get dozens or hundreds of stone from a big boulder. A night's worth of campfire wood from a tree. Etc etc.

It's early access, just give it some time! :D

Well you're using an axe.. axes aren't really known for mining stones lol

axe in the game as is now yeilds more stone than flint from rock
pick is the opposite, plus more metal if rock has it.

axe on trees for wood mostly
pick on trees for shredded wheat, mostly.

I'm glad to see they are allowing us to alter resource per tree/rock whatever as IMO it is
absurd low yeild and results in clearing too many trees.

Then perhaps the server operator will be able to lower the spawn rate on trees and rocks as IMO it currently is stupid high.
I like clearing the damn booulders from areas and dislike having them all back in a game day or 3.

I play solo mostly.
