Taming a megalodon.

Any tips for taming a megalodon? In a cove obviously but how do you knock them out? Arrows dont seem to hit them much through water. (solo)

You can use tranq arrow and shoot them in the fin if its out of water.. you can shoot through water easily if they are close to the surface and you are on the land.

The problem isnt taming them... its after they are tamed.

They will instantly pull aggro from all surrounding megadolons so finding a safe place to "park" it will be tricky.

Some people build pens but megadolons can attack wood/thatch structures and destroy them to get to your pet.

There are also a lot of reports of them bugging out/dissapearing/beaching themselves

Oh ok,thank you, I'm just trying to find a way off this small island to the south east, got there without much troubles but I cant go back, I see like 8 megalodons between me and the shore, I guess I will try to tame a ptero, IF they stop flying off !!! >.<
