Logging in as admin?

[I hate fun]

I can't seem to login as admin on my own dedicated server. I have tried all passwords I found in the folders, but none works...Or do I have to edit something first, before I can use console commands?

go to your GameUserSettings.ini
check the line ServerAdminPassword=xxx

start ark
enter in console "enablecheats xxx" (without "")
you're logged in as admin

Ah, alright, then I already was logged in as admin. I thought it would show something like a confirmation on screen, that I successfully logged in as admin.

I can't see the admin panel? or is that only in a non-dedicated server?

best way to test if you're admin-enabled is type admincheat fly. if you can walk straight up into the air, you're on. admincheat walk to turn it back off.
